In a roster that included Dylan Guenther, Brandt Clark, Connor Bedard, and Adam Fantilli, it was Shane Wright that was named captain. After losing to Czechia in their first game 5-2, Canada would not lose again, winning the final 6 games of the tournament including exacting revenge on Czechia by defeating them 3-2 in overtime in the championship game. In leading his team to gold Shane Wright would score 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points in the tournament's 7 games including a goal 4:35 into the 2nd Period to give Canada a 2-0 lead. Fittingly for Wright, the goal, and his team's gold medal win, came on his 19th birthday. This image is autographed by Shane Wright.
