Winning the lottery and selecting first overall was the Montreal Canadiens. Many believed that the Canadiens would sign Canada's top prospect in the 2022 draft Shane Wright but the Canadiens instead opted to sign the Slovakian Left Winger Juraj Slafkovsky. Wright would end up getting selected by the Kraken as the fourth overall pick and now has the chance to become one of the franchise's icons in the years moving forward. Prior to being drafted Wright was a top performer with the Kingston Frontenacs becoming the sixth ever player in the CHL to be granted exceptional status and winning OHL Rookie of the Year honors for the 2019-20 season. This image is autographed and inscribed by Shane Wright.
