His efforts on the ice led to his first ever All-Star nomination. In just his third season, Suzuki was able to represent Montreal on the ice with all the other greats in the NHL. Suzuki kicked off the All-Star weekend participating in the Fountain Faceoff Skills Competition which was the first ever skills competition outside. The following day, Suzuki suited up for the Atlantic division in the All-Star tournament.
