While he often uses his finishing move "Double Cross" he will sometimes rely on his submission moves to finish his opponents. One of his most popular moves is his submission move "The Salt of the Earth". In this move MJF uses his right arm to grab his opponent by the back of the neck and forcibly throw them down on the mat. Working simultaneously MJF rotates his arm to his opponents left shoulder and locks the arm up to force his opponent into submission. MJF has previously named this move as his favorite move and often will use this move as his finishing move in place of "Double Cross".
