It was his older brother that inspired him to follow basketball. While Moody dominated youth sports, he also knew how much he would have to grind to achieve his dream. Moody was the star at his high school North Little Rock where he helped lead them to a state championship. At 16, he challenged himself and transferred to Montverde Academy in Florida. After proving himself alongside high school stars, Moody committed to the University of Arkansas. His historical first year with the Razorbacks helped him get selected as the 14th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Moody joined the highly talented Warriors, where he won the NBA Finals in his very first year.
