Historical Milestones
Mike Hoffman is a left winger in the NHL that is currently playing for the Florida Panthers. A native of Ontario, Canada, Hoffman first played hockey in the OHL, where he spent many years developing his craft. In his last year in the OHL, Hoffman recorded 85 points in just 56 games and was named the league’s Most Valuable Player.
After his time in the OHL, Hoffman was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Hoffman spent years shuttling back and forth between Ottawa and their minor-league affiliate in Binghamton before breaking through during the 2014-15 season. Hoffman played 79 games that year, scoring 48 points. Hoffman remained a solid contributor for the Senators for three more seasons before being traded to the Florida Panthers in the summer of 2018.
