Former San Francisco Giants centerfielder Willie Mays is one of the greatest players in the long history of Major League Baseball. He was a five-tool player and one of the most remarkable athletes that league has ever seen. Mays or “The Say Hey Kid” helped lead the Giants to a World Series title in 1954 when the Giants were still playing in New York. Mays was an All-Star twenty four times, the All-Star Game MVP twice, and won the 1951 National League Rookie of the Year Award. He also won twelve Gold Glove Awards and the National League MVP Award in 1954 and 1965. This MLB legend will forever be remembered as one of the game’s best hitters and fielders of all-time.
