Today, the San Diego Clippers are known as the Los Angeles Clippers and they are professional basketball team that is based in Los Angeles, California, United States. They are playing in the National Basketball Association and were part of the NBA Western Conference’s Pacific Division. In the 1970, the team began and was established as the Buffalo Braves. They are said to be one of the three franchises that was able to join the NBA in the season of 1970 to1971. The other two who also joined was the Portland Trail Blazers and Cleveland Cavaliers. The first few games of the team were played in the Buffalos Memorial Auditorium. In addition, the first head coach that served the San Diego Clippers was the Hall of Famer Dolph Schayes. As the Buffalo Braves, they used the name from 1970 to 1978. From 1978 to 1984, they are named as the San Diego Clippers and from 1984 up to now they are named as the Los Angeles Clippers.
