About San Diego Chargers Football Slabbed Cards
The 2012 season for the San Diego Chargers was a controversial one. On the twenty-first of October 2012, the line judge noticed a suspicious substance on the player’s hand towels. It was stated then that if the team was proved cheating, they are to face the consequences. Fortunately for them, they were proved not to be cheating. However, they were required to pay the fine of $20,000. The team missed the playoffs for 3 straight seasons already, with the 2012 season as the third. The events that also took place this season include the firing of Smith, the general manager and Turner, the head coach.
By 2013, the team made an off-season changes. That includes hiring a new manager, which became Tom Tolesco along with Mike McCoy as the head coach. McCoy was the same person as the offensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos, the team’s rival. Then, Ken Whisenhunt was hired as the new offensive coordinator of the team. The Chargers also drafted several players including D.J. Fluker, Keenan Allen and Manti Te’o, who were picked during 2013 NDL Draft’s first 3 rounds.
