Andrew Quarless is a professional American football player who now plays for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. He was originally from Uniondale, New York and went to the Trinity High School of Long Island and Uniondale High School where he honed his talent on the field. He played tight end and on won several honors while in his senior year at Uniondale, where he played under Coach Greg Didio. He made 1,200 all-purpose yards which included 600 receiving yards, 325 rushing yards plus 9 touchdowns. As a junior he was able to make 39 catches. He also made 6 touchdowns as well as 50 tackles. He also made 16 sacks.
He went to college in Penn State where he majored in telecommunications. He also became part of the Penn State Nittany Lions football team.
In his sophomore year, Quarless continued with his good performance for the team and played in the last 10 games of the season where always made big contribution to team victories over different college, although that season was also marred with his suspension for driving under the influence. He continued to improve his blocking and receiving skills during his junior year at Penn State. With his help the Nittany Lions landed in the National Top Ten for rushing, offensive scoring and total offense.
Coming back on his senior year, Quarless maintained his edge over his opponents by his sheer size and athletic skills. He used his height and especially his talent for those long catches as well as his ability to create scoring plays for his team. And after some of Penn States’ best receivers graduated; he had a chance for a broader role in the team plays. Together with fellow New Yorker Mickey Shuler Jr., son of former another football player, Mickey Shuler Sr. who has the Mickey Shuler (B/W) Philadelphia Eagles Signed 8x10 Coa, he reprised his role as first unit.
According to sources, he was instrumental in the East teams win in the 2010 East-West Shrine Game. The East-West Shrine Game is an All-Star College Football game that features players from the NCAA Division I Football Bowl. The game showcased the talents of 100 players from the 2009 season of college football. It is also the venue where scouts look for prospective players for the 2010 NFL as well as UFL Drafts. He played alongside teammates Daryll Clark who has the DARYLL CLARK Penn State Signed 8x10 Photo PSA/DNA and Jeremy Boone.
