About New Jersey Nets Autographed Basketballs

New Jersey Nets are currently based in East Rutherford, New Jersey and playing under the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association. Former and current notable NBA players have been a part of this team and have left some memorabilia items attesting their legacy with the Nets.
As NBA player, Avery Johnson was occasionally being traded but he was best known for his time with the San Antonio Spurs especially his role on the 1999 Spurs team that won the NBA championship when he scored the winning shot in Game 5 against the Knicks. After retiring in 2004, Mavericks took him as head coach. Johnson was rewarded the NBA Coach of the Year Award in 2006. He led the Dallas Maverick to their first-ever NBA Finals appearance. He was dismissed after the 2008 season and is currently the head coach of the New Jersey Nets.
Reggie Wayne Theus had spent several seasons with the New Jersey Nets before he became head coach of the Sacramento Kings. He is currently serving as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves. As a player, record shows, he is one of only seven players in NBA history to score at least 19,000 points and dish out 6,000 assists. A Reggie Theus Autographed Basketball Card was made for being part of the Nets team.
A rare Otis Lee Birdsong Autographed Basketball is also available. The 6’3” guard started as the 2nd pick of the Kansas City Kings in the 1977 NBA draft. He spent seven seasons with the New Jersey Nets and appeared in four NBA All-Star Games. Otis Lee ended his NBA career in 1989 with 12,544 career points.
