For one season, the Dallas Texans was able to play in the National Football League. The Dallas Texans was owned by Ted Collins and was established in the seasons of 1944. It was named as the Boston Yanks and then was renamed as the New York Bulldogs when it was moved to New York City. The owner then sold the team after the 1951 season of the NFL. Giles Miler bought the team and then moved it to Dallas. The team was then the first ever major league team that is based in Texas. They played their home games at the Cotton Bowl. The NFL moved franchise’s operation then to Hershey, Pennsylvania. Moreover, the team was also made a traveling team when the last two home games of the team were held in different places. It was held in Akron and then was also held in Detroit. The team’s colors are Navy and white.
