They started to be an amateur athletic club team that is based in Chicago. They were named as the Morgan Athletic Club. The group was founded in 1898 by a Chicago painter and builder whose name is Chris O’Brien. The team eventually made professional in the seasons of 1913. The team’s name was renamed as the Racine Normals when it was moved to Chicago’s Normal Park. It became a charter member of the American Professional Football Association in the 1920s. In 1922, the American Professional Football Association became an NFL. In 1987, the team was moved to the Phoenix Area and then later became the Phoenix Cardinals. The team then played in the Arizona State University. It was in March 1994 that the team was renamed as the Arizona Cardinals by Bill Baldwin. It is because of the team’s fans and the tradition of the NFL to name the team from their city.
