The Chicago Blackhawks are an NHL franchise based out of Chicago, Illinois playing in the Western Conference’s Central Division. One of the Original Six NHL teams, the Blackhawks were founded as an expansion franchise in the city of Chicago in 1926. After years of play at Chicago Stadium, the Blackhawks have made their home at the United Center since 1994.
