About Super Bowl XIII (13)
Dubbed the greatest Super Bowl of all-time Super Bowl XIII was a faceoff between AFC Champs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the NFC Victors, the Dallas Cowboys. Happening January 21, 1979 at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida, Super Bowl XIII brought together two teams who were both looking to win their third Super Bowl title. In a game riddled with Dallas turnovers, drops and a controversial second-half penalty, the heavily favorite Dallas Cowboys fell 35-31 to the Steelers who were led by future Hall of Famer QB Terry Bradshaw.
