Quentin Richardson is a National Basketball Association player who was born on April 13, 1980. He serves as a swingman for the Orlando Magic team. Listed at 6 ft. 6 in., he played high school basketball at Whitney Young High School and played collegiately at DePaul University. At the said university, he set records for logging more than a thousand points and over 500 rebounds. He was named as the Player of the Year in the Conference USA and was awarded as the Freshman of the Year.
His professional career started in 2000 when he was chosen by the Los Angeles Clippers in the National Basketball Association Draft that year. After four seasons with the Clippers, he joined the Phoenix Suns with which he had a wonderful stint. Reviews say he played a great 2004-2005 season with the Suns when he logged a record for the highest three-point field goals in that season. He ended the 2004-2005 season with 631 points and 226 three-point field goals. After his wonderful career with the Suns, he joined the New York Knicks and also played for the Memphis Grizzlies. He also had a short stint with the Minnesota Timberwolves and was traded most recently to the Miami Heat then the Orlando Magic.
