In the Conference semifinals, the Cavaliers took the Celtics to a seven-game series. In Game 7, Pierce scored the second-most points in a Game 7 in franchise history when he put up 41 leading them to victory. The Celtics ended up squaring off against the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals that year.
