A Russian former World No.1 tennis player, Marat Safin was born in Moscow, USSR on January 27, 1980.Safin was born in the family of tennis players. His parents were playing tennis formerly and both also are coaches. Her sister whose name is Dinara Safin is also a professional tennis player. He gained access to advanced training in tennis programs at the age of fourteen.
