He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 60th draft of the 1995 NFL Draft. Stewart’s starting season in the NFL as a quarterback had started in 1997 season. In this season, he was able to lead the team to an 11-5 record. Kordell Stewart was also known as the “Slash”. Stewart was known because also because of his ability as a utility player.
