Kevin Foster was a professional baseball player who became active in the Major League Baseball from 1993 to 2004. His professional career was jumpstarted when he decided to play for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1993. He made his MLB debut in September of the same year. This pitcher batted and threw using his right hand.
Foster was traded to the Chicago Cubs in the 1994 season. With the Cubs, he was able to help defeat the Chicago White Sox in what would be the franchise’s first. Coincidentally, Foster was born in Evanston, Illinois. He was released in 1998 and decided to play for the Texas Rangers in 2001. He also played for the St. Paul Saints in the Northern League in the 2003 to 2004 season. Kevin Foster decided to retire after the 2004 season with the St. Paul Saints. Foster died of renal cancer on October 11, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
