About Chris Paul Autographed Memorabilia & Collectibles
Chris Paul is the second son of Robin Jones and Charles Edward Paul, with a brother named Charles “C.J” Paul. He grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and together with his brother, they spend their summers working for the gas station owned by their grandfather.
Paul played for West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, North Carolina. In 2003, he became a McDonald’s All-American and during the same year, he was also hailed by The Charlotte Observer as the Mr. Basketball of North Carolina. In his senior high school career, he had an average of 9.5 assists, 6.0 steals, 5.9 rebounds and 30.8 points per game. This has helped in leading his team to a Class 4A Eastern regional Finals and 27-3 record. That very same year, he has also scored 61 points at the season’s beginning in honor of his grandfather who was days before beaten to death. He scored for every living year of his grandfather and when he finally reached the 61 point-mark, he purposely missed a free throw and went out of the game although the state record of 66 points was already near at hand.
