A professional football player in the National Football League, Carson Palmer was born in Fresno California on December 27, 1979. He was a former starting quarterback the University of California where he logged impressive statistics. In his last year in the said university which is in 2002, he was able to pass 3, 942 yards and made ten interceptions. In that same year, he was awarded the Heisman Trophy for his notable performances as a college football athlete.
Palmer went pro in 2003 after he was selected to play for the Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League Draft in 2003. In the said draft, Palmer was the first overall pick and started to play full time for the team in the 2004 season. He suffered a few injuries in 2005 which required surgery and went back to play in the league in 2006. Starting that season, Palmer exhibited great plays and even recorded franchise-high statistics. Some of those are the highest passer rating with 101.1 which he achieved in 2005 and the record for most completions in the same year. In 2007, Palmer recorded the highest number of passing yards.
According to statistics, Palmer was able to appear in 82 games as of the 2009 season with the Bengals. He was chosen for two Pro-Bowl and even became the Most Valuable Player in the 2006 season of the Pro Bowl.
