About Bob Feller Autographed Memorabilia & Collectibles
Find sports memorabilia for those ballplayers who have long retired can be really difficult. Sportsmemorabilia.com has a wide selection of memorabilia and game used collectibles. You can find souvenirs of your favorite ballplayers that played in the 1930’s to the 1950’s. One person included in that long list is Bob Feller.
Bob Feller was the pitcher for the Cleveland Indians. He stayed with the team from 1936, the year when he started playing professionally, until in 1956, the year that he retired (except for a brief break in 1942-1944). Feller was born Robert William Andrew Feller on November 3, 1918 in Van Meter, Iowa.
He started his professional baseball career after he was drafted by Cy Slapnicka for the Cleveland Indians. This allowed Feller to be admitted to the Major League Baseball without having to play for the Minor League prior to that. He became one of the Indians’ best acquisitions. Together with Bob Lemon, Early Wynn and Mike Garcia, Feller was a part of “The Big Four” of the Indians’ pitchers.
With Feller in the team, the Indians was able to garner 266 wins including six league wins. Bob Feller was selected as part of the All-Star team in 1938 to 1941, 1946 to 1948 and in 1950. In 1962, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Sportsmemorabilia.com has game used collectibles including signed Bob Feller memorabilia such as inscribed baseballs and baseball bats. You can also find signed plaques and photos of Feller in the middle of playing baseball.
