About Antrel Rolle Autographed Memorabilia & Collectibles
Antrel Rocelious Rolle was born on December 16, 1982, and raised in Homestead, Florida. Currently, he plays professional football for the New York Giants of the National Football League as a safety. Rolle played college football for Miami Hurricanes and was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2005 NFL Draft.
Rolle’s college career in football was exceptional with outstanding performances included shutting down future All-American Receivers Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson. In 2001, Rolle started in many games, and earned, in 2002, the All Big East first team honors. As a junior in 2003, he continued to progress in statistics and show huge improvements in playing style. Unfortunately, late in the season in 2004, Rolle had a foot sprain and missed an important Virginia Tech game. He was still able to mark his career with notable performances on the field in his last year of college.
His early career in the NFL didn’t start off exactly as planned, as Rolle had torn cartilage on his left knee and was kept on the injured reserve list. He almost didn’t play for the rest of the season. However, during weeks 14 and 15, Rolle saw playing time recording an interception and return yardage against the Washington Redskins and the Houston Texans.
Rolle recently signed with the New York Giants to a tune of $37 million for a 5-year contract due to motivating performances he left with the Cardinals, making one of the higher paid safeties in the league.
