Historical Milestones

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are an American football team in the NFL and are a part of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the South Division. The Bucs play their home games in Raymond James Stadium and were a post-merger expansion team in 1976. Tampa had great early success in 1979 as the first post-merger expansion team to win a division title, win a playoff game, and to host and play in a conference championship game.

The Buccaneers were a perennial powerhouse for a period of time, with that best-sustained run of success coming in the late 1990s and early 2000s under head coach Tony Dungy. In 2002, the Bucs owners the Glazer family, moved four high draft picks and eight million dollars to the Raiders in a trade for head coach Jon Gruden. With a stout defense already in place, like Pro Bowl players John Lynch, Derrick Brooks, Warren Sapp, Ronde Barber and others, Gruden turned his attention of the roster to the offense and changed over half of the starters from the previous season. Everything worked for Gruden and the Bucs as they went on to win the Super Bowl South for the first time as well as winning their first and only Super Bowl in franchise history, Super Bowl XXXVII. Now with an explosive offense that features Antonio Brown, Mike Evans and of course legendary quarterback Tom Brady, the Buccaneers look to repeat the success that they found in 2002. Tampa fans should be excited about the promising future of this young team and there is no better way to celebrate that excitement than by getting rare memorabilia and collectibles. All autographed Bucs gear is certified authentic and will prove to be of great value to any collector.
