About Oakland Athletics Autographed Memorabilia & Collectibles

Historical Milestones

The Oakland Athletics are an American League team in the MLB that play in the AL West division. Ever since 1968, they have played their home games at Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland, California.

The Athletics have been an institution in Major League Baseball since 1901 when they came into the league as one of the American Leagues first eight charter franchises. At the time, the A’s played in Philadelphia. Those early teams had great success as they won five World Series. They first won three out of four in the years 1910-1913 and then won back to back titles in 1929 and 1930. The Athletics moved to Kansas City in 1955, but never found much success there before ultimately moving to Oakland in 1968.

The Oakland Athletics best team was probably the team of the early 1970s that was led by future Hall of Famers Catfish Hunter, Reggie Jackson and Rollie Fingers. Those great teams won the World Series in three consecutive seasons in 1972, 1973 and 1974. The Athletics are the only team other than the New York Yankees to ever win three-straight World Series in MLB history. In the late 1980s the A’s would have another great run under Hall of Fame manager Tony La Russa, with players like Ricky Henderson Dennis Eckersley and the young “Bash Brothers” of Mark McGwire and Jose Conseco. That group won three consecutive pennants from 1988-1900, but only brought back one World Series win in 1989. Overall the Athletics have won fifteen pennants across the team’s history.

Athletics fans can get great autographed memorabilia that will help them celebrate the history and present of their team. These autographed collectibles are incredibly valuable and will look great on display in your home or office. These autographed memorabilia are all guaranteed authentic.
