Wisconsin Badgers Memorabilia & Collectibles

They are the varsity sports teams of the Yale University. The Yale Bulldogs are sponsoring 35 varsity sports and today, it is under the athletic director, Tom Beckett. The Yale Bulldogs also have their fight song that is entitled as the Down the Field. Their football team was able to compete since the season of 1872. And since the season that they were established, they were able to win 19 national championships. According to many sources, the Yale Bulldogs football team is said to be one of the oldest program in the world. In addition to the many achievements they have is the fact that they were able to win two of the first three Heisman Trophy. The Father of Football, Walter Camp was able to play with the lineup of the Yale Bulldogs football. Moreover, he played with the team from 1876 to 1882. And he was able to serve as coach of the team too from 1888 to 1892. 

 

They are the collegiate athletic teams that are coming from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. The Wisconsin Badgers are part of the Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. In the present, the team is under their athletics director whose name is Barry Alvarez. He is also the former head coach of the football team of the Wisconsin Badgers. The Wisconsin Badgers is boasting 23 varsity teams. The team’s name as the Wisconsin Badgers came from the words “Badger State” wherein the Wisconsin is being dubbed. The mascot of the team is named as Bucky Badger or Buckingham U. Badger. And he is being introduced in the season of 1949. The colors that are representing the team are cardinal and white. Furthermore, their fight song is entitled as On, Wisconsin. One of the most famous teams that they have is their football program that was said to be successful since the early 1990s.
