 They are the athletic teams of the Division I FBS of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The Western Michigan Broncos are jockeying for position in the Mid-American Conference in some of their sports teams such as tennis, soccer, basketball, football, baseball and many more. In addition, their hockey team for men is competing in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. The famous rival that the Western Michigan Broncos has is the Central Michigan University. On the other hand, there are 15 varsity sports teams that encompass the Western Michigan Broncos. The athletics director at present of the Western Michigan Broncos is Kathy Beauregard. They also have their mascot whose name is Buster Broncos. Furthermore, the colors that are representing them are brown and gold.  Some of the famous facility they have is the Waldo Stadium, their football stadium and the University Arena, in which their basketball games were being played. It serves as well as their basketball arena.
