 The Washington Wizards has been experiencing ups and downs for the past few years. They always been trading players and finding a way of what will be the best for the team to be competitive to other fan favorite teams. Despite all of the struggles the teams been facing, they were still and always hoping that someday, something good might happened for the team.

 

According to research, the long been awaited time come in the 2004-2005 NBA season. This time the team began to show their rival teams that they were a matured team and a team that can compete with the teams that the league can offer. For almost 26 years of struggling, they finally post their best season record of 45-37, plus they made their playoffs appearance against one of the leagues tough team, the Chicago Bulls. In their playoff battle against the Bulls, the Wizards show their mighty and proved that they were well developed and that they should earn respect by taking their first victory by 93-82 mark on April 13, 2005. They continue to play their best as they earn their first playoff series win in almost 23 years as sources say.

 

After long quest, the teams finally made it to the semi finals. This time they will face a top seeded team in the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat. Despite the teams effort of controlling the game, they were no match to the power of Shaquille O’Neal and Dwayne Wade. It only ended up with the Wizards being swept by Miami.
