For many years the team experienced a lot of trades between players for they were seeking for the best to contribute and to execute the teams play. In the 1999 draft pick, they choose Richard Hamilton as their first pick and w as being selected as the picked 7th in the 1999 NBA overall plan in Washington Wizards as he plays his first three seasons.  After having traded to other team Hamilton turn out to be one of the top shooting guards of NBA.  Unfortunately, he got fractures on his nose that makes him to wear a mask for his protection.  According to sources, Hamilton wanted to continue wearing mask because he considered it as his strength.  For the NBA history Hamilton was the only player who led his team in scoring notwithstanding of not making his single field goal.
Michael Jordan publicized his return to play under the Washington Wizards team on September 25, 2001.  For this game he had made a decision to bestow his salary to the victims of the tragedy happened in September 11, 2001.  He led the team and was able to make the scoring on top with the other team.  According to sources, Michael Jordan had surpassed the ever known All –Star game in basketball record in 2003 he is no other than Kareem Abdul Jabbar.  At his time with the Wizards team Michael Jordan’s home games were being sold out and the team was considered to be the second in the rank were most viewers watched.  Reviews said that there are around 20,172 viewers per game on court excluding those viewers on the road.  But unfortunately, he often got displeased with the performance of his teammates and he openly gave critics on it on how to improve their performance.  In fact, he was able to receive a four minute standing ovation in recognition with his very pleasing performance in United Center Chicago his own old home court where he was being polished as a prolific athlete.
