Later in 1961, they moved to Minnesota and renamed themselves as the Minnesota twins. Later the Washing Senators ruled the capital for 11 years. But their winning records were poor, only one winning event in the entire tenure. They later moved to Texas in 1972 and Washington spent the next 32 years without a baseball team. The Expos their final game in 2004 at Shea Stadium, lost against the New York Mets, the same team which they faced as opponents at start. It was later in 2005; the team of Montreal Expos came back to Washington D.C. The Nationals had many great players in hand, like Chad Cordero. Chad served the Montreal from 2005 to 2007. He had managed to make 113 saves which was second most saves recorded in the National League behind Trevor Hoffman. Cordero competed with Lee Smith and John Wetteland for record number of saves.
