Washington National formed in 2005, was known as Montreal Expos. The professional Baseball team played in the Eastern Division of the National League. Steve Rogers is one among the few players who had played solely for the Montreal Expos. He served the team as a starting Pitcher. Rogers is remembered as the most promising players in Nationals history. Rogers was selected in the National All-Star Team. His pitching had gained fame far and wide. Brad Wilkerson was a line drive hitter and a versatile Defensive Player. He was selected in Montreal Expos during the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft. He started his career in Montreal Expos in 2001. He play was consistent. He was awarded the Expos Rookie and Sporting News Rookie of the Year Award. His career best season is considered to be the 2004, when he scored 32 homeruns and 67 RBI. In 2004 he hit the last home run for Montreal. His fans nicked named him as the “Last Expo”.
