About Virginia Tech Hokies Tailgating and Outdoors
Ok now we know about the history and the demographics of the VT Hokies, so its time to come to the best part, which most guys love and many women want to have a chance at, the “Virginia Tech HighTechs”.
Known to be the best active and versatile groups around, sources say that they would be found prancing and dancing at various basketball and football matches when the VT’s play. They also are available at community service presentations distributing
Tailgate Chairs and mementos like the
Baskets and Bags and compete at the well known NCA/NDA College Cheer and Dance National Championships across the nation.
According to resources we get to know that the seniors perform for the football and basketball for men’s teams and the juniors do the dances for the women’s basketball teams including soccer. However whenever they are rally’s or even campus events, the juniors and the seniors get together and put up an act. It is said that only young girls form the team both for junior and senior bands and are the motivators encouraging the spirit of the teams at play representing VT.
Pom, Jazz, Funk and Samba form a part of their dance routines and display it during half time at games. The choreography is well rehearsed and members are motivated well enough by all to take part and participate in it. They are required to tone themselves well and build good stamina by eating right and not starving to remain slim and well toned. Well folks, now you can dance about when you get yourselves the
Canopies or
Sleeping Bags used by the cheer girls.
