It is said that the VT team has a women’s basketball entourage that is led and managed by the strong arms of Beth Dunkenberger who is the head coach for the girls. The team has been with vigor and strength and has acquired a place of honor with the famous NCAA games all between 2003 until 2006. Sources say since the year 1997 and 1998 the girls at VT have made it to the postseason and Bonnie Henrickson was the first to be a coach for the Hokies. According to many reviews and resources we get to know that it was in the year 2006-07, that the Hokies came back to be with the NCAA Women’s Nit and this was the first time ever from the days of 2002 which means this would mark the tenth game for them since they appeared at a post season.
