They are part of the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League. The Toronto Maple Leafs is a professional ice hockey team that is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The team was established in the season of 1917, also when the National Hockey League was formed in Montreal. From 1917 to 1918, they were named as the Torontos and the team’s name was then changed to Toronto Arenas that lasted for one season. In 1919 to 1927, they are named as the Toronto St. Patricks and from 1927 up to the present they are named as the Toronto Maple Leafs. The colors that are representing the team are blue and white. Currently, the team is being owned by Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. On the other hand, the Toronto Maple Leafs is being coached by Ron Wilson and the general manager is Brian Burke. Furthermore, the captain of the team is Dion Phaneuf.
