Named from the Longhorn cattle, which was considered as the official “large animal” in Texas State, the Texas Longhorns is operating in The University of Texas at Austin.

 

Texas has been a home of promising players in different sporting fields including football, basketball, golf, gymnastics, and track and field which also led them to be tagged as “America’s Best Sports College” in the year 2002. The said performance has been gathered by the Sports Illustrated, a Time Warner publication which is released weekly. At present, Mack Brown stands as the Longhorns’ coach. In its football league, Texas Longhorns is being considered as one of the most well playing teams of all time. They have already earned four honors in the National Championships which included a victorious game in the 2005-2006 seasons.
