They are the varsity sports teams of the Texas A&M University. The Texas A&M Aggies are locking horns in the Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Before, they were said to be a charter member of the Southwest Conference, until the dissolution of the Southwest Conference and the subsequent development of the Big 12 Conference in the season of 1996.
They also have their mascot whose name is Reveille. The first few victory of the Texas A&M Aggies was earned by them in the season of 1983 and 1987. It is their softball team who first grab that triumph. And this softball team that they have was formed in 1972. In addition, it also has six appearances in the College World Series. There are 18 varsity sports lineups that comprise the Texas A&M Aggies and the present athletic director that they have is Bill Byrne. They have their football stadium that is in the Kyle Field. The Texas M Aggies has 18 varsity teams and their present athletics director is Bill Byrne. The biggest rival of the Texas M Aggies according to many sources are the Texas Longhorns.
