About Temple Owls Memorabilia & Collectibles

 They are the varsity sports teams of the Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The university and their athletic groups were founded in the season of 1880s. Furthermore, the teams that encompass the Temple Owls are primarily member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, except for their football lineup that is affiliated in the Mid-American Conference. Their name as the Temple Owls was from the statement of the university founder whose name is Russell Conwell. He has this statement that said “The owl of the night makes the eagle of the day” The team’s name was derived from there.  On the other hand, the Temple Owls also have their mascot whose name is Hooter the Owl and the colors that are representing them are cherry, black and white. One of the eminent team that they hold is their basketball team who was able to make two NCAA Final appearances and that was in the season of 1956 and 1958.
