They are competing in the Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The South Florida Bulls are the varsity sports teams of the University of South Florida. And they are member as well of the Big East Conference since the season of 2005. In addition, there are 15 varsity sports teams that encompass the South Florida Bulls. They have their football team that started the college football play as a 1-AA independent the period of 1997. In 2003, they were then moved to Conference USA. On the other hand, the basketball team of the South Florida Bulls began to play in 1971. And the first game that they have was a victory against the basketball lineup of the Stetson University. Today, the team is under the athletics director, Doug Woolard. Moreover, they also have their mascot that is named as Rocky the Bull. And the colors that are representing them are green and gold.
