About Sacramento Kings Bobbleheads and Figures

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Chris Webber or Mayce Edward Christopher Webber nicknamed C-Webb is a former Sacramento Kings player who is now retired.

He went to school at the Detroit County Day School and also most recruited just like the other Michigan star magic Johnson. He then went to the University of Michigan and together with 4 others became known as the Fab Five. The Fab Five led the University to the NCAA twice but they lost in both Championships.

In the NBA, Webber was first drafted by The Orlando Magic, but was later on traded in exchange of Anfernee Hardaway to the Golden State Warriors. With The Warriors, Webber had an excellent first year, winning the NBA Rookie of the Year Award and even led the Warriors to the play-offs. But he has a long-running misunderstanding with his coach that led to him being traded off to the Washington Bullets, now Wizards, in exchange of Tom Gugliotta.  In the Wizards he was again playing side by side with his former University of Michigan teammate Juwan Howard. He helped the Wizards reach the playoffs but they were trounced by the Chicago bulls, who at the time were led by Michael Jordan.

After that, in 1998, he was again traded this time to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Mitch Richmond and Otis Thorpe. He initially did not want to be part of the team due he thought that it was a losing team. He was signed up along with Peja Stojakovic, Vlade Divac, and Jason Williams.

In February of 2005, he was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers where he played alongside Allen Iverson. In 2007 he signed up with the Detroit Pistons, where according to sources, he had always wanted to play. The Pistons game improved considerably because of him but still they came short of going to the championship after losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

He was not signed up by the pistons again, and in 2008 he was back with the Washington Wizards again. Finally on March of the same year, Webber retired due to his persistent knee injury.
