They are part of the East Division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League. The Philadelphia Eagles are professional American football team that is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a replacement for the team that was bankrupt and named as the Frankford Yellow Jackets, the Philadelphia Eagles was established in the season of 1933. The team then joined the National Football League as an expansion team together with the Cincinnati Reds and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The first home field that they have was at the Baker Bowl, which the team played from 1933 up to the season of 1935.  At present, the team is playing their home field at the Lincoln Financial Field. On the other hand, the first game of the Philadelphia Eagles was played on October 15, 1933 and that game was against the New York Giants and was held at the Polo Grounds in New York City. Even though they loss with their first game, they are currently known to many sports enthusiasts. 

 

Regarded as one of the greatest playing teams in the National Football League, Philadelphia Eagles is currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was in 1933 when the team had decided to join the National Football League as an expansion team. The Philadelphia Eagles is currently a member of the Eastern Division in the National Football Conference. They had won three NFL titles and had made two Super Bowl appearances in the years 1980 and 2004.

 

During their first decade, the team had gone through a lot of difficulties and had struggled very hard to be able to make a name in the league. It was in the late 1940s when Earle Neale, the team’s head coach, had led the team to three successive NFL Championship Games where they successfully won two of them in the years 1948 and 1949,the Freddie Mitchell autographed Eagles mini helmet became a favorite item to baseball enthusiasts. They had amazingly won their third NFL Championship in the year 1960 as Norm Van Brockin and Chuck Bednarik had led the team. During the 1970 season, the Eagles were placed in the NFC East Division.

 

It was in 1999 when the Eagles had hired Andy Reid and they also drafted Donovan McNabb who was a strong quarterback. In the year 2004, the team had advanced to the 2004 Supper Bowl XXXIX but was unfortunately defeated by the New England Patriots. The Eagles had made up for their lost in the year 2006 and had won their fifth NFC East title that also led to the making of Freddie Mitchell autographed Eagles mini helmet as recognition.
