One sports team to take note of would be the Rebels tennis team, who have made a name for themselves. Although the Lady Rebels lost to Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, they initially defeated the University of Denver in the 1st round by 4-1. However, it was Devin Britton of the Men’s tennis team that brought down several prominent players namely Blake Strode, Dominic Inglot, and Moritz Baumann; ultimately he emerged the first Rebel to win an NCAA men’s singles championship.
