Al Davis then became the head coach and at the same time, he is the manager of the team in 1963. Moreover, as a part of the AFL-NFL merger, the team then joined the NFL. From the season of 1960 to 1981, the team is named as the Oakland Raiders and from 1982 to 1994 they are called as the Los Angeles Raiders. The team was moved to Los Angeles. In 1995, the team returned to Oakland and was named as the Oakland Raiders since then.
