Northern Illinois Huskies Memorabilia & Collectibles

 They are the athletic teams of the Northern Illinois University and they are representing the university in the Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and in the Mid-American Conference. The team began participating in the athletic competition in the Northern Illinois in the season of 1899. The first nickname that they have was Profs. They were then named as the Cardinals in the 1920s. The mascot of the team was afterward officially chosen in the season of 1940s. On the other hand, one of the eminent teams that they have is their baseball team that was able to start playing the season of 1900. At present, they are playing their home games at the Ralph McKinzie Field. In addition, in 1900 also, the basketball team for men of the Northern Illinois Huskies started to play. For three times, they were able to appear in the NCAA Tournament. The Fight song of the Northern Illinois Huskies is entitled the Huskies Fight Song.
