About North Carolina Greensboro Spartans Memorabilia & Collectibles
The North Carolina Greensboro Spartans are the intercollegiate athletic programs of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Their athletic teams become popular when they participated in the national golf tournament in the season of 1948. Since then, the other sports groups that they have also participated. They started to compete in 1980s in the Division III and then in the Division II of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. In addition, since the fall of the 1991 season, all of the North Carolina Greensboro Spartans are jockeying for position in the Division I. The present athletic director of the team is Kim Record. On the other hand, there are 16 varsity sports teams that composed the North Carolina Greensboro Spartans and their mascot is named the Spartan and Minerva. The colors that are representing the team are blue gold and white. And they also have their fight song that is entitled Grand Forks Red River.
