They are based in East Rutherford, New Jersey. New York Giants are professional American football team that is representing the New York City metropolitan area. The team is at present part of the Eastern Division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League. The first game of the team was played against the All New Britain on October 4, 1925 and that was in New Britain, Connecticut. It was in the season of 1925 that they joined the national football league. They were said to be one of the five teams that were able to join the NFL in that season.  On the first season that they have, the New York Giants earned much success, being able to finish with an 8-4 record. The first home field that the New York Giants have was at the Polo Grounds in which they stayed from the season of 1925 up to the period of 1955.
