About Navy Midshipmen Memorabilia & Collectibles
They are the varsity sports teams of the United States Naval Academy. The Navy Midshipmen are taking part in the Division I- A of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are in addition part of the Collegiate Sprint Football League, also in the Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges and Eastern Association of Women’s Rowing Colleges. The athletics director of the Navy Midshipmen at present is Chet Gladchuk. To have a participation in the athletics are in general mandatory at the Naval Academy. They have the basketball team that was able to appear in the NCAA tournaments for 11 times. And they have made regional finals also in the season of 1954 and 1986. The basketball arena of the Navy Midshipmen is at the Alumni Hall. The mascot of the team is named as Bill the Goat and they have their fight song that is entitled as the Anchors Aweigh. The colors of the team are gold and navy blue.
The United States Naval Academy is sponsoring 30 varsity sports team and 12 club sports team and all of the teams that they have are named as the Navy Midshipmen. They are participating in the National Collegiate Athletic Association I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) independent school. In addition, they are part as well of the approximately 300 members of the Eastern College Athletic Conference or ECAC.
