They are based in St. Louis, Missouri. The Los Angeles Rams are currently known as the St. Louis Rams. They are professional American football team that is at present part of the West Division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League. In the season of 1936, the team was founded by atty. Homer Marshan. Their name as the Rams was derived from the nickname of the Fordham University as honor to the hard work of the football players who were from the university. They then became a part of the newly formed American Football League. On February 12, 1937, the team joined the National Football League. The first home base that they have was in Cleveland Municipal Stadium. In addition, the team was then relocated to Los Angeles on January 11, 1946. For more than 30 years, the home of the Rams was The Coliseum. Today, the team is playing in the Edward Jones Dome.
The Los Angeles Rams started in the year 1936 as St. Louis Rams. Even then, the team has already established their name as they have won three championship titles for the National Football League. On top of that, they have already won one Super Bowl. Their name was changed to Los Angeles Rams when they moved to Los Angeles, California back in 1946. In 1995, their name was made St. Louis Rams again.
It was in 1951 when the Rams won in the NFL. Between 1949 and 1955, the Rams played four times for the said football event. At those years, their lineup was remarkably strong. It included Bob Waterfield and Norm Van Brocklin as quarterbacks. They had Elroy Hirsch as wide receiver along with Tom Fears. But it was
Roman Gabriel, quarterback, who made a mark for the team after becoming the 1969 Most Valuable Player for the NFL. He became more effective for the team when the Rams had Jack Snow as the primary receiver. They had great players throughout football history. The list includes
