Record holder for the longest successive win streak with 33 in US professional team sports, Los Angeles Lakers had also won 14 BAA/NBA Championships, 28 conference titles, and 26 NBA division titles. The team was founded in 1946 and the team’s key players are Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dennis Rodman and they also have a good coach in the person of Pat Riley.

 

The team became the first NBA dynasty in late 1940s to early 1950s where they won five championships for six years. They also had good players at that time such as the Hall of Famers George Mikan, Vern Mikkelsen, Jim Pollard, Slater Martin and Clyde Lovellette. In the 1980s, the Lakers had dominated the league where they were crowned champions five times, which includes successive championships in the years 1987 to 1988. They were also the first team to have done so since Boston in the year 1969. The two then had led the team to three successive NBA Finals in 2000 to 2002.
