They were professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League that played from the season of 1974 to 1976. The Kansas City Scouts was relocated to Denver, Colorado in 1976. They were then named as the Colorado Rockies. Again, the team was relocated to another place and that was in New Jersey in the season of 1982. At present, the Kansas City Scouts are named as the New Jersey Devils. The franchise history of the Kansas City Scouts started when Kansas City was awarded a franchise on June 8, 1972. There was an arena that was constructed to host the said team’s games and that was in Kemper Arena. Through the years, the Kansas City had been the place of the various minor league ice hockey teams. The team’s colors are blue, red, yellow and white. The first team captain of the team was Simon Nolet who stayed in the team from 1974 to 1976.
